Twelve thousand, nine hundred and sixty hours.”, which is a long time to wait for a four-time champion. Gordon took victory ahead of 2008 champ Jimmie Johnson, Greg Biffle rounded out the podium for the Samsung 500 at Fort Worth, Texas. Australian Marcos Ambrose completed only 216 of the 334 laps before retiring with a blown engine, he ended up 41st out of 43 starters.
